Community Manager – Eventide (Apartment Community)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager for its Eventide property in Beaufort, South Carolina. The role oversees daily operations of a 212‑unit garden‑style community, ensuring financial performance, resident satisfaction, and compliance with housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the property budget, set rent rates, collect payments, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, manage petty cash, and ensure proper insurance documentation.
• Oversee leasing activities, including application approvals, lease renewals, rent collections, and enforcement actions.
• Analyze market trends and implement leasing and marketing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Maintain resident satisfaction by addressing complaints, service requests, and ensuring timely maintenance.
• Supervise property staff, conduct hiring, training, performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with owners, provide property updates, and conduct tours as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or related field.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and customer‑service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite, spreadsheets, and database management tools.
• Valid driver’s license for on‑site transportation.
• Relevant state and local licensing or certifications.
