Community Manager – Beauty & Customer Care

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Community Manager to join a leading consumer‑goods brand in the beauty sector. Based in New York, you will be the voice of the brand across social channels, handling customer inquiries, shaping conversations and supporting the overall digital strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with fans and followers on all social platforms, both proactively and reactively, acting as a digital advisor.
• Craft clear, consumer‑friendly responses and maintain a 100 % reply rate while meeting response‑time targets.
• Escalate critical complaints to internal teams and assist in problem resolution.
• Provide strategic recommendations for public customer‑care channels and social content based on consumer feedback and market trends.
• Monitor emerging social media tools, platforms and best practices to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
• Track and report on social KPIs, sentiment scores and satisfaction metrics.
• Document product issues and input data accurately into CRM systems and surveys.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media engagement and community management.
• Exceptional written communication skills with a consumer‑focused tone.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to support business needs.
• Strong analytical mindset to identify improvement opportunities and influence purchase decisions.
