About the role
The Community Assistant supports the property management team in achieving occupancy and retention goals through administrative, leasing, marketing, and customer service tasks at the Block 75 student living community.
Key responsibilities
- Perform office administrative duties such as copying documents, filing resident files, preparing notices, handling calls, and organizing rent payments.
- Assist with leasing activities: conduct virtual tours, respond to online inquiries, greet and qualify prospects, give property tours, and show apartments.
- Generate lease paperwork, organize resident lease files, and support move‑in/move‑out processes, including mandatory “turn” dates.
- Answer incoming calls, set appointments, and conduct on‑campus marketing outreach to drive qualified traffic.
- Coordinate resident events and programs, distribute notices, and conduct resident visits as directed.
- Serve as after‑hours liaison, respond to emergencies, and take on‑call shifts as scheduled.
- Address resident concerns promptly, taking action or escalating to appropriate staff.
