Commercial Solutions Engineer – East Coast

About the role

Dash0 is looking for a Commercial Solutions Engineer to serve as a trusted technical advisor for its largest customers and prospects on the East Coast. This US‑based remote position blends deep technical expertise with pre‑sales activities, helping customers adopt Dash0’s observability platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native technologies.
• Translate complex customer requirements into scalable Dash0 implementations.
• Develop and execute Proofs of Concept that showcase Dash0’s differentiated capabilities.
• Deliver technical demos and presentations tailored to engineering and executive audiences.
• Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to position Dash0 as the preferred technical solution.
• Create and maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates.
• Contribute technical content such as blog posts, conference talks, and documentation.

Required profile

• Strong background in Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, and observability pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization.
• Deep understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform‑engineering practices.
• Excellent technical communication skills for both engineers and decision‑makers.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.
