Commercial Litigation Attorney – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our well‑established, full‑service law firm based in East Texas. This permanent position can be performed fully remote, offering the opportunity to handle complex litigation matters for businesses, individuals, and public entities.

Key responsibilities

• Represent clients in state and federal courts, as well as before government agencies.
• Conduct jury selection, argue motions, meet with judges, and examine witnesses during trials.
• Research and interpret statutes, case law, and regulations for diverse clients.
• Draft legal briefs, opinions, and appellate filings.
• Analyze case outcomes, develop strategies, and present arguments to judges and juries.
• Gather evidence through client and witness interviews.
• Negotiate settlements of civil disputes.
• Supervise legal assistants and junior attorneys.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience with a focus on trial preparation.
• Strong courtroom advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple case files and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
