Senior Counsel – Legal Services

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Counsel to join the Global Business Solutions Center (GBSC) Legal Services team in O'Fallon, MO. You will lead end‑to‑end contract processes, ensuring legal compliance while delivering a superior customer experience for internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full contract lifecycle for a portfolio of transactions, from request intake to signature.
• Conduct triage of contract requests to verify alignment with business policies and procedures.
• Draft, review, and negotiate routine vendor and commercial agreements, including NDAs, software license agreements, support service agreements, and consulting services agreements.
• Collaborate with business unit clients and subject‑matter experts to ensure contracts reflect approved policies and playbooks.
• Analyze contract terms for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Provide timely, high‑quality customer service in line with GBSC standards.
