Commercial Escrow Assistant

About the role

Independence Title Company, a subsidiary of Anywhere Integrated Services, is looking for a Commercial Escrow Assistant to support its commercial department in Austin, Texas. The role involves coordinating information, managing documents, and providing back‑up for post‑closing duties to ensure smooth real‑estate transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate collection of information to finalize commercial transactions.
• Distribute commercial contracts and review appraisal district information as needed.
• Set up files in the RamQuest (RQ) order entry system, monitor escrow disbursements and receipts, and organize hyperlinked documents.
• Forward title commitments to the Escrow Officer for review and distribute approved documents.
• Provide backup for post‑closing duties such as processing closing packages, check distribution, document recordation, and special information gathering.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior escrow or title experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with commercial escrow processing and RamQuest system is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• On‑site work; not a work‑from‑home position.

Required skills

• Microsoft Suite proficiency.
• Familiarity with RamQuest (RQ) order entry system.
