Commercial Construction Superintendent

About the role

David Nice Builders is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial and civil projects in the Williamsburg area. The role reports directly to project managers and serves as the primary on‑site representative to clients, architects, and engineers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise foremen, field labor, and subcontractors across commercial and civil projects.
• Partner with Project Managers to execute design, budget, quality, and schedule objectives.
• Manage look‑ahead scheduling, monitor milestones and job profitability.
• Conduct site inspections for quality control, safety compliance, and OSHA standards.
• Document daily activities, issues, and quality findings in Procore.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering commercial construction projects from groundbreaking to punch list.
• Deep knowledge of construction sequencing, methods, materials, including MEP and civil systems.
• Strong blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation skills.
• OSHA 10 certification minimum; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Experience with Procore and the Microsoft Office suite.
