Commercial Construction Site Supervisor

About the role

The Site Supervisor leads on‑site commercial construction operations, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met. This position reports to the Director of Field Operations and supervises in‑house carpenters and laborers.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily field operations, plan work sequencing, and lead regular site meetings.
• Develop and enforce site‑specific safety plans, conduct inspections, and maintain compliance documentation.
• Review plans and specifications, conduct quality inspections, and manage punch‑list closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, monitor milestones, and oversee material delivery and inventory.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of progressive commercial construction experience with field supervision.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and regular attendance.

Required skills

• OSHA certification (required or preferred).
• Proficiency with construction management software and mobile reporting tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
