Commercial Account Manager – California

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established insurance agency to hire a Commercial Account Manager to support a generalist commercial book of business. This service‑focused role involves hands‑on client service, managing day‑to‑day account activity and collaborating with internal partners across a broad range of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and service an approximately $3M commercial book of business.
• Handle renewals from start to finish.
• Process certificates of insurance accurately and efficiently.
• Manage endorsements and other policy servicing requests.
• Serve as a direct client‑facing contact for ongoing account needs.
• Support both existing business and new business servicing activity.
• Maintain accurate workflow documentation and account activity in AMS360.
• Communicate clearly with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Active California insurance license in good standing.
• Daily, hands‑on experience with AMS360.
• Strong knowledge of the California commercial insurance market.
• Independent commercial account management / book‑servicing experience.
• Ability to walk through renewal workflows in detail.
• Ability to explain certificate and endorsement workflows step‑by‑step.
• Proximity to the South Bay area.
