College Recruitment Advisor – Undergraduate Strategic Partnerships

About the role

The College Recruitment Advisor supports high‑school students as they explore, apply to, and enroll in colleges. Working within Texas A&M University’s Undergraduate Strategic Partnerships team, you will guide students through admissions and financial‑aid processes, helping them build realistic college plans.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one admissions and financial‑aid counseling to students and families.
• Develop individualized college timelines, tracking application and aid deadlines.
• Assist students in completing and submitting applications, scholarships, and financial‑aid forms.
• Coordinate and attend outreach events, often outside regular business hours.
• Maintain accurate records and follow up on student progress throughout the recruitment cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a Texas‑based institution.
• Ability to relate well to high‑school students and work independently.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer‑service skills.
• Self‑directed, problem‑solver with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Fluency in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
