CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift

About the role

Join Bosch Rexroth as a CNC Machinist on the 2nd shift, producing precision‑machined components according to schedule. You will work closely with designers, programmers and production staff to ensure high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Produce machined parts, verify dimensions and tolerances, and document any anomalies.
• Maintain fixtures, cutting tools, accessories and machine materials.
• Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and 5S housekeeping.
• Train new employees and cross‑train on other team functions.

Required profile

• High school/technical school graduate with at least 3 years of CNC horizontal/vertical setup experience.
• Ability to read and interpret programs, prints and coordination sheets.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and support 1st shift as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and obtain overhead crane certification.

Required skills

• Setup and operation of CNC centers, including fixture setup and first‑piece verification.
• Proficiency with G‑code and M‑code programming and on‑machine program editing.
• Use of precision measuring tools such as verniers, thread gauges, bore gauges, micrometers and calipers.
• Knowledge of cutting speeds, feed rates and tool/material compatibility.
