Product Manager – Linear Components

About the role

The Product Manager for Linear Components will lead the portfolio of ball, roller, and mini rail systems, as well as related measuring and screw assemblies. You will be responsible for the product’s revenue, margin, growth and profitability while shaping its roadmap and go‑to‑market strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and develop activities for the Linear Technology product area, covering the full product lifecycle.
• Own portfolio revenue, margin, growth and profitability; develop and execute the product roadmap aligned with business strategy.
• Define product positioning, value propositions, pricing strategies and manage assortment throughout the lifecycle.
• Support annual business planning, forecasting and strategic growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales, distribution and engineering to diagnose account needs, develop customer solutions and prioritize development initiatives.
• Monitor product performance through KPIs, conduct voice‑of‑customer research and provide market feedback for launches and campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10 + years of experience in sales, marketing, engineering or product management.
• Strong knowledge of linear technology products and electromechanical solutions.
• Ability to travel up to 30 % and work in a collaborative, ambiguous environment.

Required skills

• SAP ERP system (desirable).
• Microsoft Office suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access.
• Graphic and document tools – Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, PageMaker.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; public speaking preferred.
