Club Server – Makena Golf & Beach Club

About the role

The Club Server will join the Food & Beverage Service team at Makena Golf & Beach Club on Maui. You will create memorable dining experiences for members and guests by delivering attentive, knowledgeable service in a high‑end resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and guests promptly, anticipate needs, and respond to requests with urgency.
• Present detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, specials, and accommodate allergies.
• Recommend wine, cocktails, beer and pairings based on guest preferences.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system, issue checks, and close sales according to policy.
• Ensure food orders are complete, accurate, and delivered according to specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food‑safety standards in all work areas.
• Perform opening and closing duties, inventory checks, and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Uphold all government, health, safety, and security regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of serving experience in a full‑service, fast‑paced, high‑end restaurant, club or resort.
• Knowledge of HACCP and local food‑safety standards; ability to obtain a State Food Safety Certificate.
• Strong understanding of wines, cocktails, beer and beverage service.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
