Clinical Technician – Urology

About the role

The Clinical Technician will support the G90 Urology/Medical‑Surgical Telemetry Unit on the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. Working nights, you will assist with basic patient care, maintain a clean environment, and contribute to a collaborative, learning‑focused team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist RN with vital signs, weight, personal care, point‑of‑care testing, dressing changes, and patient transfers.
• Apply external monitoring devices, perform phlebotomy, 12‑lead ECGs, and remove urinary Foley catheters.
• Report abnormal findings to the RN and help keep patient rooms orderly.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within new‑hire period).
• One year recent full‑time patient‑care experience, or nursing student with clinical rotation, or relevant military medical experience.
• Proficiency in applied mathematics and reading comprehension at an 8th‑grade level.
