About the role

The Neuro ICU at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus provides world‑class care to complex neurological patients. As a Clinical Technician you will support patient care, maintain a safe environment, and work closely with the nursing team on a rotating day/night schedule.

Key responsibilities

Take vital signs, weight, and assist with point‑of‑care testing under RN supervision.
Provide personal care, dressing changes, apply external monitoring devices, and remove urinary Foley catheters.
Report any abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to the RN promptly.
Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and ensure a safe environment.

Required profile

High School Diploma/GED.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross) obtained within the new‑hire period.
At least one year of recent full‑time patient‑care experience (or equivalent military medical experience).
Ability to lift and move patients, stand and walk for extended periods.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Manual patient handling and ability to use standard medical equipment safely.
