About the role

The Clinical Team Coordinator provides direct patient care and leads the emergency department nursing team, ensuring high‑quality, safe care while supporting unit and hospital objectives.

Key responsibilities

Oversee administrative and operational issues for the designated care delivery team.
Support unit goals, manage staffing, and ensure compliance with safety policies.
Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members, including performance appraisals.
Serve as acting unit leader in the Director’s absence, handling clinical, administrative, and financial responsibilities.
Utilize evidence‑based research in patient care and participate in data collection and research studies.

Required profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Minimum 3 years of RN experience in an acute‑care hospital setting.
Current Pennsylvania RN license and Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and teach others positively.

Required skills

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Pennsylvania.
