About the role

The Department of Clinical Translational Research at the University of Miami is seeking a Per‑Diem Clinical Research Coordinator to support human‑subject studies on‑site in Miami. This role provides professional support for study design, data management, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of clinical studies, including data maintenance, grant tracking, and meeting scheduling.
• Track medical reports, review regulatory documents, and generate status reports.
• Serve as liaison with internal departments, external organizations, and government agencies.
• Recruit and enroll patients, monitor weekly recruitment metrics.
• Enter collected data into study databases and perform quality‑assurance checks.
• Monitor study timelines and ensure protocol compliance for each participant.
• Prepare study materials such as brochures, letters, and informed‑consent forms.
• Arrange required testing and evaluations per physician orders and study protocols.
• Adhere to university policies and safeguard assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience coordinating clinical research.
• Strong learning agility, teamwork, and communication skills.
