About the role
The Clinical Nurse (RN) provides hands‑on, evidence‑based care to patients at the Tri‑Valley GI Clinic. Working a full‑time day shift, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families, offering emotional support and education.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, interpret data, and formulate nursing diagnoses.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Coordinate care with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff.
- Teach patients and families self‑care techniques to prevent complications.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Required profile
- Current California RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS may be required depending on cost center.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and licensure maintenance.
- Ability to deliver family‑centered, culturally sensitive care.
Required skills
- Hands‑on patient care and clinical assessment.
