About the role
The Clinical Engineering Systems Integration Specialist will support the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences by ensuring that clinical engineering equipment and software are effectively integrated into the hospital’s technology ecosystem. This role bridges engineering expertise with clinical operations to improve patient care and device performance.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, configure, and validate integration of medical devices and clinical engineering systems.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, IT, and vendors to troubleshoot integration issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, test results, and compliance records.
- Participate in project planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance activities.
- Provide training and technical support to end‑users on integrated systems.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in a clinical engineering or medical device integration environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
