Clinic Manager – Oral Surgery Department

About the role

The College of Dentistry at Texas A&M University Health Science Center is seeking a Clinic Manager for its Oral Surgery department in Dallas. This on‑site position oversees daily clinic operations, supports executive leadership, and ensures a high‑quality patient experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee clinic staff and coordinate workflow across functional areas.
• Manage the daily clinic schedule and ensure efficient patient flow.
• Direct the revenue‑cycle process, including EOB verification, treatment estimates, payment collection, posting, and payment‑plan setup.
• Audit patient records for completeness, insurance documentation, and chart accuracy.
• Implement and maintain document‑retention protocols in line with university policies.
• Track provider licensure, certification, and credentialing paperwork to ensure continuity of care.
• Identify operational issues and recommend solutions to enhance the patient experience.
