C&I Credit Analyst II or III

About the role

The Credit Analyst will perform financial statement spreading, underwriting and credit analysis to support commercial lending and portfolio management. This position focuses on new money requests, annual reviews, renewals and modifications, with level II or III determined by experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality credit analyses, memos and recommendations for new loans, renewals and modifications.
• Analyze financial statements, industry risk, loan structure and market conditions to assess borrower creditworthiness.
• Utilize financial spreading software and Microsoft Office tools to evaluate cash flow and repayment sources.
• Conduct underwriting, identify credit risks, calculate collateral coverage and present findings in narrative format.
• Maintain data integrity in underwriting platforms and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
• Participate in business calls, opportunity memo discussions and special project teams as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field.
• 3‑5 years of commercial lending or credit administration experience, specifically C&I lending.
• Strong understanding of macro‑economic trends, industry sectors and credit risk assessment.
• Ability to meet service‑level expectations and work collaboratively with credit managers.
