Child Support Services Agent Supervisor

About the role

The Georgia Department of Human Services is seeking a Child Support Services Agent Supervisor to lead a unit that establishes and enforces child support obligations, coordinating with legal, judicial, and public organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide subordinate staff in casework functions within the Child Support Services office.
• Interpret and apply state, federal, and agency laws, rules, policies, and procedures for complex cases.
• Provide human resources management direction and perform administrative assignments for efficient unit operation.
• Coordinate and participate in local and statewide projects as requested.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED.
• Five years of direct job‑related experience, including at least two years in a lead, team leader, or supervisory role, or equivalent experience at lower‑level Child Support Services Agent positions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of state, federal, and agency child support laws and regulations.
• Ability to manage staff and oversee casework functions.
