Child Care Lead Teacher

About the role

BrightPath Kids is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. This full‑time, on‑site position follows NAEYC guidelines and offers the chance to shape curriculum and build strong partnerships with families.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children in an assigned classroom.
• Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with NAEYC standards.
• Plan and lead activities that reflect children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a clean, warm, and exploratory classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about child progress and needs.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support each child’s growth.

Required profile

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, related field, CDA credential, or at least 12 credits in early‑childhood courses.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a licensed child‑care setting (preferred).
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to multitask.
• Availability to work regular operating hours without evenings or weekends.
• Compliance with state child‑care employment criteria.

Required skills

• Proficiency in functional written and oral English.
