Chief of Staff to the CEO

About the role

The Chief of Staff will partner directly with the CEO, Paul, to bring rigor to operating layers, drive a metrics‑driven product strategy, and own high‑impact special projects. This is a hands‑on leadership role with delegated authority to shape how the business operates, from strategic product insights to AI enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimize the product operating system, ensuring accountability across scope, specs, and PM‑owned metrics.
• Leverage data as a trusted product strategist, partnering with PMs and the Head of Data to identify high‑impact levers.
• Define and maintain the company’s source of truth for metrics, building AI‑enhanced measurement tools.
• Act as the CEO’s force multiplier by shaping agendas, guiding leadership discussions, and triaging roadmaps and escalations.
• Drive the creation of meaningful social products that foster rich friendships worldwide.

Required profile

• 7–10+ years of experience in Chief of Staff, product operations, BizOps, consulting, or similar high‑accountability roles, with a track record of building dashboards and operating systems from scratch.
• Product‑focused mindset: deep understanding of product scoping, building, measurement, and shipping, especially in consumer/social contexts.
• Quantitative and data‑driven: comfortable digging into data, pressure‑testing metrics, and forming evidence‑based viewpoints.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, spotting inefficiencies and implementing systematic solutions without sacrificing speed.
• Strong communication skills: can represent the CEO’s vision clearly, produce concise written updates, and maintain rapid response on collaboration tools.
