Chief of Staff – Financial Advisory

About the role

The Chief of Staff supports Financial Advisors and Private Wealth Advisors by overseeing business operations, aligning team priorities with strategic goals, and enhancing client service delivery. This senior position drives the execution of growth initiatives, client relationship management, and the integration of new firm services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Support Professionals to ensure alignment with team objectives.
• Direct business matters, route them to appropriate contacts, and track resolution.
• Guide strategic initiatives, monitoring asset acquisition, growth, and performance metrics.
• Organize critical information for Advisors to enable efficient decision‑making.
• Enhance client relationships through exceptional service experiences.
• Assess client service needs and delegate actions to appropriate team members.
• Develop and manage the team’s client communications strategy.
• Partner with the Business Service Officer on hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Evaluate and integrate new firm services into existing offerings.

Required profile

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced degree or professional certification in a related field.
• Active Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (or Series 63 and Series 65).
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses or designations as needed.

Required skills

• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Technical aptitude for learning new financial platforms quickly.
