Chief Legal Officer

About the role

The Chief Legal Officer (CLO) will lead all legal matters for Solomon’s Palace and Chateaus, a luxury kosher resort development on the South Las Vegas Strip. Based in Boca Raton, FL, the CLO will shape legal strategy, manage risk, and ensure compliance across hospitality, real estate, corporate governance, and labor law.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall legal strategy for the resort development and ongoing operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including development, financing, vendor, and employment agreements.
• Provide legal counsel to the executive team and board on corporate governance, regulatory filings, licensing, and permitting.
• Coordinate with external counsel and oversee litigation or dispute resolution as needed.
• Implement policies and procedures that uphold ethical standards and protect company assets.
• Collaborate with finance, development, operations, and investor‑relations teams to support transactions and long‑term growth.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction; eligibility to practice or supervise practice in Florida preferred.
• Extensive experience managing complex legal issues and providing business‑oriented advice.
• Proven expertise in corporate governance, board support, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of labor and employment law, including policy development and dispute resolution.
• Progressive leadership experience in a senior legal role, ideally within hospitality, real estate development, or large‑scale projects.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with both legal and non‑legal stakeholders.
