Key responsibilities

• Supervise, guide, and instruct the work assignments of subordinate staff.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a unit or shift.
• Ensure staff assess client health problems and needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans and maintain medical records.
• Oversee the provision and quality of nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent or disabled clients.
• Advise clients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and provide case management.

Required profile

• Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Four years of professional nursing experience, including at least two years in a lead, team‑leader, or supervisory role (or one year at the Registered Nurse 3 level).
