Certified Personal Trainer

About the role

FFC is seeking a Certified Personal Trainer to join its West Loop location. This full‑time position involves building a client base, delivering high‑quality training, and maintaining a safe, welcoming fitness environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the InBody machine and fitness desk operations.
• Greet members, create personalized workout plans, and assist on the fitness floor.
• Prospect new clients through calls, emails, and social media outreach.
• Schedule and conduct training sessions (minimum 5 shifts per week, including weekends).
• Maintain a clean and safe fitness floor and keep client records up to date.
• Promote FFC programs and participate in community events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology or a related field.
• Nationally accredited personal training certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in a health‑club setting with proven sales ability.
• Master or Elite level trainer status (or equivalent).
• Current CPR and AED certification.

Required skills

• Operation of InBody body‑composition equipment.
• CPR and AED emergency response.
