About the role
Join the State of Georgia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities as a Certified Nursing Assistant 2 on the night shift at East Central Regional Hospital in Augusta. You will work with inpatient adults who have serious mental illness, trauma histories, and impulse‑control challenges, providing compassionate, person‑centered care.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with doctors and nurses in an acute inpatient setting to support adults with severe mental health conditions.
- Perform direct‑care activities and basic nursing procedures that aid patient recovery and promote a safe therapeutic environment.
Required profile
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- Minimum one year of experience as a Nursing Assistant 1 (or equivalent position).
