CEO Communications Manager

About the role

Okta is seeking a high‑performing CEO Communications Manager to amplify the voice and vision of its CEO. Based in San Francisco and working on‑site, you will partner with the Head of CEO Communications, Corporate Communications, and senior executives to streamline and scale the CEO’s communications platform across internal and external channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine bylines, scripts, talking points, social copy, and briefing materials that reflect the CEO’s vision and voice.
• Explore and apply AI‑driven agents to securely optimize and automate content creation and workflow processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for event production logistics, including technical run‑throughs, AV coordination, studio operations, and real‑time support.
• Manage inputs, timelines, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment between executives, production, and design teams.
• Anticipate needs, respond quickly, and act as a strategic thought partner in high‑stakes, fast‑paced settings, with a bias toward operational excellence and innovation.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years of corporate communications experience, preferably in a high‑growth tech or SaaS environment.
• Direct experience supporting CEOs or senior executives with content creation, media engagements, and public speaking preparation.
• Strong understanding of business strategy and emerging technologies such as identity security and AI.
• Intellectually curious, highly accountable, and able to thrive in a fast‑moving, transformation‑focused organization.

Required skills

• Exceptional writing and editing skills for executive‑level communications.
• Experience managing media, influencer, and social media engagements.
• Proficiency in coordinating production logistics, including AV and studio operations.
• Ability to manage cross‑functional stakeholder relationships and deliver high‑quality materials on tight timelines.
