CDL‑A Local Truck Driver – $34.53/hr

About the role

Join a family‑owned transportation leader as a City Pickup & Delivery (P&D) driver. You will operate a local route, delivering and picking up freight throughout Janesville and returning to the terminal each day, enjoying a consistent day‑shift schedule and home every night.

Key responsibilities

• Perform multiple stops each day, delivering and picking up freight using scanning equipment.
• Interact directly with customers and handle lift‑gate deliveries with an electric pallet jack.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and follow safety protocols while operating the truck.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of verifiable experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years) and meet FMCSA age requirements.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical capability to bend, lift, and stoop safely.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Electric pallet jack handling.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
