About the role
As a Linehaul Driver you will pull van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between R+L Carriers’ service centers and turn‑point locations, returning home each night.
Key responsibilities
- Transport freight safely between service centers using 53’ van or double trailers.
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Required profile
- Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A experience in the past 3 years.
- Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years) and age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military transition).
- Ability to pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
- Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop as required.
Required skills
- CDL Class A operation.
- Experience with double‑trailer handling.
- Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
- LTL freight handling experience (preferred).
