Cashier – Part‑time Afternoon Shift

About the role

Join Sedano’s Supermarkets as a part‑time Cashier on the afternoon shift. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a friendly and efficient checkout experience while supporting store safety and organization.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide excellent customer service.
• Accurately scan items, weigh produce, and operate the cash register.
• Accept all forms of payment, give correct change, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Count cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Perform price checks, bag purchases, and assist with cart loading when needed.
• Return discarded items to shelves and keep the checkout area clean.
• Follow safety procedures, report hazards, and adhere to store policies.
• Maintain the proper uniform and dress code.
