Merchandiser – Chains (San Luis Obispo / Santa Barbara)

About the role

Breakthru Beverage is looking for an energetic Merchandiser to support our chain accounts across the San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara area. You will be responsible for creating eye‑catching displays, maintaining product inventory, and ensuring our brands are presented in the best possible way.

Key responsibilities

• Stock and rotate shelves in both new and existing accounts.
• Build and maintain point‑of‑sale displays and manage promotional materials.
• Execute store resets for remodels, grand openings, or seasonal changes.
• Develop strong relationships with key accounts and relay feedback to the sales team.
• Identify opportunities to increase shelf and cold‑box facings and report out‑of‑stock situations.
• Stay informed about beer, wine, and spirit product knowledge.

Required profile

• At least 21 years old, high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional demeanor and sound judgment.
• Availability to work occasional weekends.
• Physical ability to lift and carry 45‑65 lb regularly.

• Hourly pay between $21.60 and $23.35.
