About the role
Worley, a global energy, chemicals and resources company, is hiring a Carpenter 1 in Cedar Creek, Texas. The position is full time and involves reading blueprints, setting forms and performing finish carpentry work.
Key responsibilities
- Build and set forms, including advanced layout and anchor bolt layout using Simon forms
- Read blueprints and perform advanced layout
- Use a level (instrument) and a transit, and tie rebar
- Perform finish carpentry, read tape and ruler, set screeds and take off materials from drawings
- Install batter boards and follow safety requirements for building work
- Operate pneumatic and electric power tools
Required profile
- 4 years of experience in the industrial construction or maintenance industry
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel and perform repetitive motions
