Caregiver – Head Start/Early Head Start

About the role

The Caregiver will support children enrolled in the Head Start and Early Head Start programs at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This position ensures a safe, nurturing environment that promotes the health and development of young participants.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily care and supervision for children in the program.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and child‑friendly environment.
• Assist with age‑appropriate activities that support early learning and development.
• Monitor children’s health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to staff.
• Collaborate with program staff to implement care plans and routines.

Required profile

• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
