About the role

The Alfa Laval Career Pathways Program is a 10‑month development experience designed to launch recent college graduates into a dynamic, cross‑functional environment. Participants rotate through multiple business functions, receive immersive training, and gain hands‑on experience with Alfa Laval’s products, technologies, and markets across Food & Pharma, Water & Wastewater, Energy, and Ocean divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Learn Alfa Laval’s product portfolio, technologies, markets, customers, and business operations across all divisions.
• Participate in structured training and development activities that build technical, commercial, and operational knowledge.
• Collaborate with peers and leaders on cross‑functional projects that support business objectives.
• Build relationships with engineering, sales, service, operations, finance, supply‑chain, and other key teams.
• Apply problem‑solving skills and contribute ideas to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Gain exposure to customer‑focused solutions and the industries Alfa Laval serves.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 50% of the program).
• Upon successful completion, transition into a full‑time role at Alfa Laval.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a technical field with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Strong curiosity, drive to share new ideas, and a collaborative mindset.
• Technical acumen and problem‑solving ability, with the capacity to interpret data from multiple sources.
• Proven customer‑service orientation and effective communication skills.
• Team‑player attitude and willingness to relocate to a U.S. location after the program.
• Knowledge of heat transfer, rotating equipment, or fluid separation/filtration is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (estimated up to 50% of the program).
