Career Navigator – SNAP Case Manager

About the role

The Career Navigator (SNAP Case Manager) connects local job seekers with employers, helping both parties achieve successful employment outcomes. Working within WIOA, CHOCIES, SNAP and NCP programs, you will guide candidates through planning, service delivery and referrals.

Key responsibilities

• Match job seekers to open positions, facilitating interviews and hires.
• Assist businesses in recruiting qualified applicants.
• Conduct intake interviews to assess client needs and develop individualized employment plans.
• Identify barriers to employment and refer clients to appropriate resources.
• Provide career counseling, job placement, and referrals to training or education programs.
• Maintain accurate case files, document interactions, and ensure compliance with program requirements.
• Stay informed on labor market trends and use research tools to guide clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Human Resources, Communications, Business or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in case management, recruiting or workforce development.
• Non‑exempt status with ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
