About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Campus Clinical Housekeeper (Customer Care Representative) to maintain cleanliness across its academic, research and patient‑care facilities. The role supports a 5 million‑square‑foot campus, ensuring safe and sanitary environments for staff, students, and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of patient care areas, laboratories, classrooms, and common spaces.
• Empty waste baskets, dispose of trash, replace liners, and restock supplies.
• Wipe and disinfect surfaces according to established safety and infection‑control protocols.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Follow scheduled cleaning plans and report any maintenance issues.

Required profile

• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
• Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption.
