About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Campus Clinical Housekeeper (Customer Care Representative) to maintain cleanliness across its academic, research and patient‑care facilities. The role supports a 5 million‑square‑foot campus, ensuring safe and sanitary environments for staff, students, and patients.

Key responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning of patient care areas, laboratories, classrooms, and common spaces.
Empty waste baskets, dispose of trash, replace liners, and restock supplies.
Wipe and disinfect surfaces according to established safety and infection‑control protocols.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
Follow scheduled cleaning plans and report any maintenance issues.

Required profile

Prior housekeeping or custodial experience.
Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption.
