About the role
The Cadre Worker supports the Georgia Youth Challenge Academy at Ft. Stewart, providing a structured, quasi‑military environment for at‑risk youth aged 16‑18. You will mentor cadets, promote discipline, and help them achieve academic and personal goals.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and train youth in physical training, character development, and general education.
- Monitor, discipline, and provide day‑to‑day supervision of cadets.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and secure residential environment.
- Assist with academic support and life‑coping skill development.
- Model appropriate behavior and serve as a mentor and role model.
Required profile
- Compliance with Army grooming regulations (AR 670‑1) and ability to obtain waivers if needed.
- Willingness to work with at‑risk youth in a residential, quasi‑military setting.
- Ability to mentor, motivate, and enforce program standards.
