CAD Designer – Factory Engineering (AutoCAD, Inventor)

About the role
The CAD Engineering Designer will use AutoCAD 2025 to provide preliminary design and drafting support for Factory Engineering, covering architectural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines. The role assists in preparing documents for capital investment proposals and collaborates with factory and Group Engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain up‑to‑date factory key drawings and archive them properly.
- Support engineers in creating layouts, flow sheets, and technical concepts during conceptual and basic design phases.
- Produce industrial drawings for equipment tooling, process flow sheets, P&IDs, and fabrication details using AutoCAD 2D/3D and Autodesk Inventor.
- Prepare specifications, assemble bid packages following AIA standards, and manage small building improvement projects.
- Digitize and organize engineering drawings and manuals in both paper and electronic formats.
- Provide training to factory engineers and third‑party contractors on drawing preparation.
- Support SAP and NIMT administration for the Engineering Department.
- Travel 10‑20% to other Nestlé factories and vendor sites as required.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in a related field preferred.
- Professional certification in industrial design/drafting (AutoCAD) preferred.
- 4‑6 years of experience in industrial design or drafting, preferably in a TPM environment.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D/3D and Autodesk Inventor.
- Experience with BIM360 or AutoCAD Construction Cloud is a plus.
