C12 Lead Site Mechanic

About the role

Amentum is hiring a C12 Lead Site Mechanic to lead the effort for operating and maintaining the aircraft, aircraft subsystems and support equipment. The CLS system covers aircraft maintenance and personnel, materials and inspections, launch and recovery of the aircraft, supply of contractor-owned spares and support equipment through a Contractor Owned and Maintained Parts (COMP) program, repair and overhaul of repairable spares at FAA-certified repair stations, maintenance and repair of support equipment, aircraft paint, and engine repair and overhaul.

Required profile

• 5 or more years of aircraft maintenance experience
• 3 or more years maintaining King Air/1900 airliner series aircraft, including complex modifications
• At least one year as a site lead under a similar type of effort
• Current FAA A&P license
• Demonstrated ability to direct a workforce in aircraft maintenance, repair and modification
• Ability to act as on-site liaison with the Government
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required
• High school diploma or GED at minimum
