About the role

Protiviti is hiring a Business Performance Improvement Intern for 2027 in Los Angeles. Interns work with clients, typically among the world's leading companies, in the areas of finance, operations, people and change, collaborating with the team to deliver client-focused solutions to complex business problems. The internship includes Liftoff, the onboarding experience, and The Intern Challenge, and offers a preview of Foundations, the entry-level full-time career path.

Key responsibilities

• Finance Performance Management: help finance leaders find continuous growth opportunities by aligning people, processes and technology to drive efficiency and transformation.
• Financial Reporting Remediation & Compliance: support companies in reducing the risk of non-compliance and costly restatements, monitoring new accounting rules and assisting with complex reporting challenges.
• People & Change: help organizations develop differentiated employee experiences and enable sustained behavior change for large-scale initiatives.
• Supply Chain & Operations: reduce cost, improve efficiency and reduce risk across engineering, sourcing, manufacturing and delivery.
• Receive hands-on training and project assignments from Talent Managers, supported by a network of advisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline (Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Project Management, Supply Chain or other business majors).
• Must be within one year of final graduation at the time of the internship.
• U.S. visa status: authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience solving problems with AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, GenAI).
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills and ability to apply critical thinking and innovation to client engagements.
• Relevant experience: foundation in accounting and finance processes, documenting findings and sharing recommendations, and entry-level knowledge of organizational operations.
