Business Operations Lead

About the role

Cohere is a security‑first enterprise AI company seeking a Business Operations Lead to support C‑level decision making, corporate development and cross‑functional projects. The role reports to the Head of BizOps and works closely with product, GTM, research and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Influence strategic decision‑making by collaborating with leaders across product, GTM, research and engineering.
• Optimize pricing and packaging to ensure offerings are attractive to customers and profitable.
• Build financial models and analyses to evaluate new and existing opportunities.
• Contribute to corporate development activities such as fundraising, strategic partnerships, investor relations and M&A.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to anticipate trends and identify growth opportunities.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of top‑tier investment banking experience (software/technology focus) OR 2‑3 years of top‑tier consulting experience (software/technology focus).
• Additional experience in BizOps, product or investing is valued.
• Technical background (e.g., CS, EE, Applied Math or related degree) with software engineering internships.
• Clear communicator with high ownership mentality and bias to action.
• Strong problem‑solver capable of operating at a senior analytical level.
