About the role
Supports and assists the community manager in overseeing and managing the financial facets of the community, handling accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments, prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile bank accounts.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments, including researching discrepancies and issuing checks.
- Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents on outstanding amounts, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
- Handle resident move‑outs, apply appropriate fees, and process final dispositions according to legal requirements.
- Assist with evictions by following notice requirements and representing the property in court proceedings.
