Business Insights Analyst - Post Grad Opportunity (June 2027)

About the role

Avis Budget Group is offering a post-graduate internship through its ABG Accelerate program, open to graduates of December 2026 or May/June 2027. The role sits in the business insights area and focuses on advanced analytics solutions. It is based in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business teams to understand their challenges, provide thought leadership and identify how advanced analytics solutions can be used.
• Draw conclusions and make actionable recommendations based on analysis.
• Help leverage, use and promote advanced analytics solutions across the organization.
• Design and develop advanced analytics solutions, ensuring they are practical and effective.
• Develop processes and tools to measure and monitor solution performance and value achievement.
• Continually improve existing analytics-based solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science, Econometrics, Statistics or a related field.
• Internship experience delivering analytical solutions, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant internship experience in data-analytic roles.
• Experience with database queries (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and at least one programming language (e.g., Python or R).
• Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strategic thinking, strong communication, organization and time management skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Annual starting salary of $70,000 - $75,000, depending on geography, market, skills, education and experience.
