Branch Installation Manager

About the role

The Branch Installation Manager (BIM) manages installation operations for two independent businesses: Home Depot Exteriors (windows and exterior doors) and Home Depot Interiors (cabinet refacing, countertops, backsplashes, home organization and bath acrylic liners). The role leads the warehouse and field installation teams, including assistant install managers and installation service managers, and oversees job site inspections, audits, post-install services, third-party installer sourcing and compliance. It reports to the Field Director of Services.

Key responsibilities

• Drive results through standardized processes, efficient job management, skilled third-party crew sourcing and onboarding, and resolution of customer install concerns, to meet installed revenue and customer experience targets
• Meet performance standards for gross margin, EBIT, install labor rates, installed revenue, cycle time, customer care complaints, concessions and open services
• Manage a team of five or more direct reports, including district installation managers, warehouse associates, install coordinators and area install managers, covering hiring, training, coaching, performance management and termination actions
• Ensure site and warehouse safety standards comply with company, state and federal regulations
• Partner with the HDE Branch Support Center on service and warranty tasks

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 7 years of work experience, including 4+ years of leadership experience
• Preferred: retail, home improvement or construction experience, prior work with subcontractors, and 5+ years of leadership experience
• Travel typically under 5% overnight; physical demands include lifting moderate-weight materials

Required skills

• Preferred: working knowledge of Tableau
• Preferred: collaboration across functions, negotiation, complaint handling and dispute resolution

Pay range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Nevada, New York City, Ithaca (NY), Westchester County (NY) and Washington residents: $100,000 - $200,000.
