Boiler Operator

About the role

As a Boiler Operator (Maintenance Technician) you will manage preventative and predictive maintenance to keep manufacturing equipment safe and functional. You will work on projects that span electrical, mechanical and automation challenges within a pet‑care manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain air compressors, vacuum pumps, fire‑suppression systems, pumps and cooling towers.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance projects, including equipment rebuilds and repairs outside the boiler room.
• Ensure continuous operation of steam boilers and conduct water‑quality testing for boiler and feed water.
• Troubleshoot utility, mechanical and electrical systems to minimize production downtime.
• Complete additional boiler‑related tasks such as pipe fitting and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience with high‑pressure boilers or industrial maintenance in a manufacturing, military or related setting.
